I have not found a way to use the audio device controls in Logic except in the Logic interface. There is the possibility of using the Extender which is connected to Logic AND the X-Touch to control the X32 at the same time. Caveat emptor - the X-Touch Extender ONLY works in Mackie Control mode - no XCTL for the X32, so you could only use the 8 faders of the X-Touch. I do this with my XR18 all the time - so handy. It's not remote controllable from Logic *but* the X-Touch can control the X32 with the push of a button. Enough inputs and outputs to accomplish most things. Going the X-Touch route you get all the control, 4 powered USB ports that pass MIDI through to Logic. You can get 16 faders by combining an X-Touch and an X-Touch Extender. The Behringer X-Touch is a 'very close to exact' clone of a Mackie Control (Logic Control) so working with it in Logic is well documented and does a lot of really useful things. No remote control, limited number of faders to control DAW, Mackie Control emulation. If you are used to the audio device controls in Logic (nifty feature) you will be disappointed.
